Transportation to Airport from Beirut City Center
Beirut Rafic Hariri Intl. Airport
Beirut, the capital and largest city of Lebanon, offers limited but comfortable transportation facilities between the city center and the airport, as well as the historical and natural beauties it has. There are many alternatives but 2 major roads directly connect the city to the airport. The first one is the road that is connected to the airport via Ahmad Mukhtar Beyhum and Hafez Al-Assad street.
The second one is the road arriving at the airport through the Gamal Abdel Nasser Street, Ruhollah Khomeini Street and Umar ibn Al-Khattab Street. By using the either road, you can arrive at the airport within 15 minutes and can leave your vehicle to the parking lot with a capacity of 2350 vehicles.

The airport, which hosts 6 million passengers per year, aims to host 35 million passengers annually as a result of the developments in the process up to 2035. If you are going to take the TRE line you have to first take the shuttles, which depart from the bottom floor of each terminal every 15 minutes, to the Remote South Parking area. From there you have to get on the buses that go to the CentrePort Train station. Train ticket prices can vary; you can purchase a single day use ticket for around 5 USD or a single use ticket for around 2.25 USD. The train to downtown Dallas takes about 20 minutes.
Those who want to take the DART have to go to the train station located at the lower level of Terminal A. If you land at a different terminal you can use the Skylink to get to Terminal A. DART fares are the same as TRE fares. However the TRE doesn’t run on Sundays while the DART operates every day of the week.
