Transportation to Airport from Kuwait City Center

In order to reach the airport, you firstly need to get to the bus stops in the city center of Kuwait, which is a sympathetic Middle East city. In addition to the frequent bus services, taxis are at your service every hour of the day.

Taxi

Just as in all other cities, taxis are generally an expensive option; however, you can prefer to take advantage of taxi option thanks to its advantages such as comfort and fast transportation.

Bus

It is possible to reach the airport easily by taking the advantage of the buses that provide transportation to the airport through four different routes of the city. You can arrive at the airport in half an hour by the buses that are very punctual in terms of departure times.

Rent a car

Renting a car is very easy either by booking online or contacting the car rental companies providing this service in different parts of the city. This way of transportation, which is more costly compared to other means of transportation, may not be preferred primarily.

Airport Information

Kuwait Airport, which has a two-storey single terminal building, has ample parking spaces. Inside the terminal building is a wide range of services such as lost property office, bank offices, health care unit, and eating and drinking places.

In addition, the Airport Hotel provides its guests with accommodation service at the airport, where you can find an office of the Ministry of Justice. The airport also has a Duty-Free store where you can buy souvenirs and cosmetics as well as the airport mall where you can find various shopping stores.

Pinkberry, Cinnabon, Starbucks, Cafe Les Amis, Yum Yum Tree, Hardees, Naif, Pizza Express, KFC, Sweet Factory, Caribou Coffee, Baskin Robbins, Chilis, Potbelly, International Mill, Cinnamonster, Dasman Lounge, Tick-it, O Corner, Carino’s and Heil Wa Zaafaran are among the eating and drinking places at the airport.

Transportation to Dublin City Center from Airport

Dublin Airport

Dublin is also known as "the capital not only of Ireland but also the literature" since it is the hometown of the famous literature figures such as James Joyce, Bernard Shaw, and Jack London. The airport is only 10 kilometers north of the city.

Metro

It is possible to get to Parnell Square and O'Connell in the city center by the metro line called "Northern Metro" from the airport.

The metro which departs from the ground floor of the airport terminals reaches the station in Parnell Square and O’Connell/Abbey St. stations in O'Connell in half an hour. The buses departing from the Parnell Square, which is a big park, provide transportation service to all parts of the city as well as they offer transfer option to the rail system lines, especially to the south and east lines, through the metro stations.

Airport Buses

Dublin Airport, which is the most important airport in the Republic of Ireland, is also the busiest airport in Ireland together with Belfast Airport. Both airports serve the people on the entire island and the buses carry passengers between the airport and the various regions. The private shuttle buses of Air Link and Air Coach companies provide transportation service between the airport and Dublin city center.

Buses depart every 15 or 30 minutes. The buses of both companies go up to O'Connell.

City Buses

It is also possible to reach the city center from the airport by city buses. You can get to Parnell Square in 25 minutes by bus number 747, which departs every 20 minutes from the airport.

In addition, the buses 16, 16C, 33, 41 and 41C departing from the airport will also take you to various points at Parnell Square.

Taxi

It takes about 20 minutes to reach O'Connell in the city center by taxi departing from the gates of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Rent a car

There are 8 car rental offices at the airport. You can rent a car from these car rental offices, three of which operate on pre-booking system. Once you rent a car, all you need to do is to take the Swords Road to reach the city center. Then you should drive through the Coolock road and take the "City Center – Dublin Port" turning and head to Parnell Square. This road will lead you directly to O'Connell.
