Transportation to Airport from Dakar City Center

In the city where the rail transport system is not available, the only public transport alternative is the bus to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport by bus only during the day as it does not serve at night.
You can rent a car from the city center, use hotel shuttle or take a taxi to get to the airport in about half an hour in normal traffic conditions. Private shuttle services are another convenient alternative.

Metro
In order to continue your journey towards Bandırma after you arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, you must first transfer to the metro, which has a direct connection with the airport terminal. Once you reach the Yenikapı from the airport with the metro, you can transfer to Bandırma ferries here. Bandırma ferryboats, carrying their passengers to Bandırma, depart from Yenikapı every day at 07:00 and 18:30. You can get on the ferry at 7 am with your car.
Ferry times can change at certain times of the year. For that reason, before you make your travel plans, it is useful to review the current travel schedule on the internet and plan accordingly. The journey to Bandırma takes about 130 minutes.
Private Car
If you are traveling with your own vehicle, you can reach Bandirma by following different routes from Istanbul Atatürk Airport. The distance from Istanbul to Bandirma is approximately 120 kilometers and you will have to travel for about 3 hours. If you get on the ferry with your car, the journey duration would be reduced to 2 hours and 10 minutes. Considering the intense traffic of Istanbul, getting on the ferry from Yenikapı will be a much faster and more comfortable choice.
