About Ende
Ende, one of the smallest cities in Indonesia with a population of 60 thousand, is the capital of Eastern Nusa Tenggara province at the same time. This urban region, which is considered as an important tourism city, is the center of many subjects, especially trade and education. The city, which has a small airport, is hosting reciprocal flights to Bali, one of the islands where tourists show great interest. You can visit the Bung Karno museum, which is located in the city center, which is as small as the museum, and you can spend time eating something in the cafes around. Climbing Iya, a volcano near the city, is another option. An interesting tree species, also known as "bread fruit tree", grows here and attracts a great deal of attention from the visitors. Although almost every season is suitable for visiting Ende, it is a good idea to choose the transition periods that are warmer.
