Lillem the largest city on the Belgian border of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region in northern France, it is also the European Capital of Culture of the year 2004. Transportation to Lille City Center from Airport

After landing at Lille Airport, you can use the airport shuttles, which are commonly preferred by many passengers, for travelling to the city center. These vehicles are the most budget-friendly transportation option that you can use for travelling to the city center from the airport. If you prefer a more practical transportation option, you can get on a taxi outside the terminal of the airport. In addition, you can rent a car if you want a more comfortable travel. You can also use your car to discover the nearby places.

Car Rental

There is the car rental area just outside the arrivals terminal. Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are among the companies offering service on this area. You can reach the city center from the airport in a short time by driving in the north direction through the highway N356 or A1.

Taxi

Reaching the city center by taxi lasts about 15 minutes. The cost of this travel is about 25 Euro. If you get on a taxi between 10:00 pm and 06:00 am, this amount may increase to 30 Euro. This is one of the comfortable and fast options.

Shuttle Bus

Airport shuttle buses offer service for every day including the weekends and holidays. These shuttles have the capacity of up to 54 passengers. There is a special area for luggage. You can reach the city center in about 20 minutes by using a shuttle bus.

Euralille Shopping Center, the central railway station and Lille Flandres Metro/Tramway Station are also on the bus route. You can buy your ticket from the driver. One-way ticket price is 8 Euro. If you want to buy a round-trip ticket, you need to pay 10 Euro in order to use these buses for your transportation.

There is a bus at every hour. These buses operate from 05:30 am to 10:10 pm. On Sundays and holidays, they offer service from 11:30 am to 10:10 pm. You can get detailed information about this service by visiting the information desk at the airport.
