Sana'a, which is among the authentic cities, is known as the administrative capital of Yemen. The city, which has been included in UNESCO World Heritage List, has a versatile architectural and cultural texture. The city's cuisine shaped by the influence of animal husbandry mostly consists of lamb. Apart from the regional dishes, other culinary cultures are rare. Saltah is one of the most famous dishes of the city and it attracts a lot of tourists. Sana'a Festival, which is celebrated during the summer months on a regular basis every year, hosts very amusing activities flocked by a crowded group of people. Shopping malls located in the city center sell products of many brands. Although there are not many entertainment venues except the bars owned by the hotels in the city, it is possible to come across various activities in the places like coffeehouses. Sana'a International Airport, which is located in the city center, provides easy transportation for those who want to visit this city.
