About Utopia Creek
Utopia Creek, located in the U.S state of Alaska, is part of the Alaska Radar Base in the Kobuk National Conservation Area. From 1951, when it was first established, until 1983, it was used as a radar station belonging to the United States Air Force. The discovery of the region was preceded by the presence of large gold deposits. Nowadays there is no work in this area. On the banks of the Kobuk River, on the top of the Indian Mountains, transport can only be provided by airline via Indian Mountain LRRS Airport. No civilians live in this pristine, untouched area.
