About Yangon

Yangon, Myanmar's capital and the largest city at the same time, has a population of about 4 million people according to 2005 data. The city, which is the industrial center of the country, is located near the Bago River and is known to have developed especially in the construction sector. In the city where tropical monsoon rains climate is experienced, there is a long rainy season between May and October. Between November and April is the dry season.

Yangon is central to airline, railway and land transportation. Yangon International Airport, 12 kilometers from the city center, provides access to Asian cities. From Yangon Central Railway Station, you can go to the Myanmar cities. City transport is provided by car and bus.
