Train
There is a rail system in place that provides transportation from the city center directly to Munich Airport. Trains depart every 10 minutes and provide transportation to terminals 1 and 2. The S1 train line connects Neufahrn, Moosach, Laim, Munich Hauptbahnhof, Marienplatz and Ostbahnhof with the airport and the S8 train line connects Ostbahnhof, Isartor, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz/Stachus, Hauptbahnhof, Laim and Pasing and Herrsching with the airport. This service is the most expensive way to travel from San Antonia International Airport to the city center and other parts of the city if you are travelling as 2 or more people.
It costs 19$ per person to go to the city center with shuttle service. If you want to go to a point outside the city center and if this is not a hotel, the fee goes up to 29 dollars.
