Billy Bishop - Toronto Island Airport

This international airport is located in Mississauga with a portion of it extending into the Etobicoke district. Toronto Pearson International Airport is Canada’s biggest and busiest airport. This express service provides transportation between Kipling Station (Bloor-Danforth Subway Line) and Toronto Pearson International Airport. This bus operates every day of the week and runs every 10 minutes. This express service takes about 25 minutes to get to the airport. The TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) also operates other bus routes that provide direct access from various stations to Toronto Pearson International Airport but make other stops along the way. Metro

The fastest and most practical means of public transportation in the city is the metro. The metro provides access to central locations in the city. The metro runs every 2-5 minutes and contains 4 separate lines. The first stop on the Bloor-Danforth line, heading west, is the Kipling Station. The 192 Airport Rocket bus route, operated by the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission), departs from Kipling Station. Kipling Station is easily accessible from any metro station in the city.

Trains on Metro Line 1 (the yellow line), the Yonge-University Line run a U-shaped route. The north-south line operates between Yonge Street, Finch Avenue East, Union Station, Allen Road, and Sheppard Avenue West. From the Bloor-Yonge, St. George, and Spadina stations travelers can transfer to the Sheppard-Yonge Station on Metro Line 2.

Transportation to Macau City Center from Airport

Macau International Airport

Macau International Airport, which is located to the east of Taipa Island, generally has reciprocal flights with the cities of the countries such as China and Taiwan. It is possible to travel from the airport to many destinations such as Bangkok, Beijing, Busan, Manila, Taiyuan, Hanoi and Seoul. To get to the city center from Macau International Airport, you can benefit from bus and ferry or you can prefer to take a taxi which can take you directly wherever you want.

Bus

There are many bus lines that provide direct transportation between Macau International Airport and Macau city center. You can travel in the direction of Border Gate by the bus number 26, which you can take after leaving the terminal without losing time. The bus runs between 06:34 am and 11:46 pm and the ticket fare is 5 Macau Patacas for each passenger.

If you take the NEWERA bus number 36 from the airport, you can travel to Rotunda Leonel Sousa in a short time. You just need to pay 3 Patacas to get on this bus, which runs between 07:35 am and 11:50 pm.

You need to take the AP1 bus if you want to go to Portas De Corco from the airport. The buses to Portas De Corco serve between 06:30 am and 00:20 at midnight and they cost 4.2 Patacas.

If you need to travel to Praceta 24 De Junho after landing to Macau, you can prefer MT1 and MT2 buses which regularly depart at the terminal building. The departure times for these buses are between 7 am and 9:44 pm.

In addition to these routes, you can reach Bacia Norte Do Patane and its surrounding areas from Macau Airport by bus. The bus line going to Bacia Norte Do Patane is N2. The buses carrying passenger only for 4.2 Patacas serve the airport passengers from midnight until 6 am in the morning.

TurboJET

TurboJET is another option to reach the destinations in Hong Kong and its surrounding area from Macau Ferry Pier. The cost of this fast journey is very expensive compared to ferryboats and other public transport vehicles. You can choose to have a different experience if you want to travel by turboJETs that you can travel alone or with a few people.

Rent a car

You will see two different car rental companies at Macau Airport. One of them is AVIS and the other is Happy Mokes Rent a Car. You can make a reservation for your car by contacting AVIS at 2833 6789 and 2870 1786 or you can also contact Happy Mokes at 2843 9393 and 2872 6868 at any time if you want to rent a car. Those who want to rent a car in Macau must be over 21 years old and must have a driver’s license with international validity. The car rental company may also ask for your credit card information as a deposit. If you need to travel to different parts of Hong Kong by the car you have rented, it is very useful in this sense to have a navigation device that guides you in a language you know.

Car

If you prefer to reach Macau city center by driving your own car after arriving at Macau Airport, you can take advantage of the parking areas at the airport and find your route to the city center without having any difficulty. You just need to pay about 5 Macau Patacas if you want to park your car at the airport for an hour. The daily parking fee is 50 Patacas and you need to pay 800 Patacas for the monthly parking fee. When you are headed to Macau city center by your car, you can follow the signs that lead you to the city center after you leave the airport.

Taxi

Macau International Airport is also ideal for traveling by taxi to the city center. When you step out of the terminal building, you can easily see the taxi drivers who welcome the incoming passengers. From the airport to the central points of Macau, taking a taxi will cost you a lot compared to buses and ferryboat transfers.

But, if you are traveling with a heavy luggage you need to take with you to the hotel in the city center or to your home, the taxi is an ideal means of transport, albeit its high cost. You can continue your journey by finding out the average taxi fare you need to pay by asking to the taxi drivers or consulting to the airport information desk.

Limousine

In Macau, limousines are known as one of the most frequently used vehicles for the transportation between the airport and the city center. the most important reason for this is that the limousine fares are lower in Macau compared to many cities. You can travel from the airport to many points in Macau with a limousine by paying 220 Patacas. If you want to reach Coloane or Taipa by limousine, you just need to pay 170 Patacas. The fare may change from time to time and you can get information at limousine rental counters located at the airport.

If you are going to stay at a hotel that provides airport shuttle service, you can reach your hotel from Macau International Airport by making your reservation in advance.
